cool place in a very good location with individual vintage atmosphere in an big old flat, not for people who love clean hotel atmosphere or like to have a really big breakfast, we like it and come back again. Don't forget to call them if you arrive in B.

L'accueil de notre hôte était super. nous avons trouvé pour un prix plus que raisonnable un logement en plein coeur de Barcelone. un seul petit regret , il est difficile de cuisiner même un plat rudimentaire. Par contre il nous était possible de manger sur place un bout de pain , de fromage etc Uns adresse à recommander.

Angenehmer Ort im wohlhabenden Viertel Eixample. Zentrum zu Fuß oder per Bus gut zu erreichen. Frühstück einfach, aber gut. Generell kein Luxus, aber viel Atmosphäre. Empfehlenswerte Tapas-Bar im Haus. Übrigens lohnt es sich, die Stadt per Fahrrad zu erkunden. Olaf

Endroit tranquille et agreable. Petit dejeuner simple mais tres bon. A partir de l'aéroport, ligne train no 2, descendre station Paseing Garcia et marcher environ 10 minutes. (quelques rues plus haut et plus a l'ouest de la sortie de metro) situé au dessus d'un tres bon restaurant.

Fuí con mi pareja y nos encantó el sitio, la ubicación buenísima se veía la Sagrada familia desde el balcón, además todas las habitaciones tenían mucho encanto y estaban muy cuidadas. La única pega es que nuestra habitación era un poco pequeña pero había otras más grandes, así que supongo que tuvimos la mala suerte de que nos tocara la pequeña. Pero en general el sitio estaba muy bien.

Siamo stati benissimo. Sarebbe meglio andarci con un gruppo di amici sopratutto per la privacy che lascia un po a desiderare (si sente tutto ciò che succede nella camera al fianco). Inoltre la vita notturna, nonostante fosse febbraio, per le strade continua fino a tardi. Da una casa di circa 150 anni di età adattata a B&B non ci si può aspettare altro. La città è molto rumorosa per il traffico, quasi continuo, e i netturbini che, per tenerla pulita, lavorano a tutte le ore, ma questo succede ovunque in città. Se cercate tranquillità è meglio cercare fuori da Barcelona ed avvicinarsi tutti i giorni visto che i servizi trasporti funzionano egregiamente. Il gestore Marco è una persona splendida e disponibilissima. La colazione è abbondante. La consiglierò ai miei amici consigliando, inoltre, di portarsi i tappi per le orecchie. Gavino & Lisa

I had a really nice stay in the Hotel. Decoration is nice and location is just perfect. The staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was really warm, it was like being at home!The breakfast was just ok thought. Is in a modernist building, well restored and charming. I would come again!

endroit tres atypique ; mais propre et bien situer dans le centre de barcelone, seul inconvenient nous avions une chambre sur la rue et il n'y avait pas de double vitrage(le soir ou le "barca est champion d'espagne" c'est dur.

Magnifique appartement, belle décoration (meubles de récup mais choisis avec goût) très beau balcon fermé pour le petit déjeuner... extrêmement bien placé pour un séjour culturel et urbain mais malheureusement vétuste (isolation fenêtres défaillante, chauffage "grille pain", sanitaire à écoulement approximatif).
Délicieux pour un WE bobo... en amoureux !

I just spent a few nights in February for 3 nights and we were dissapointed that the Tapas bar downstairs was getting refurbished as heard so many good reports about it so extremely noisy and disturbing hope they get it finished soon, apart from that it was a really nice place to stay and good welcoming by Marco, shame we cant cook in the kitchen anymore due to other residents leaving cookers on and almost burning the place down!!! i felt very safe where th place is situated on the 3rd floor but not so when i popped outside over looking the street from the balcony, not safe for small children very scary!! will definatly go back again but no tv but that doesnt bother me to much but would of been nice to catch up on any news or sports. will recommend to friends and family.

point fort de cet Appartement ancien : en plein centre ville, trés facile d'accés de l'aeroport par le renfe (descendre à passeig de Gracià,30min).
point faible : malgré le charme de l'ancien, cet appartement nécessiterait quelques travaux, notamment au niveau des volets et de fenêtres qui ferment mal,(source de bruit dans les chambres sur rue) un petit rafraichissement dans les parties communes et un canapé dans le salon ajouterait un vrai confort.

Die Wohnung ist sehr charmant und prima gelegen. Leider hatten wir (vier Leute) Pech, weil im Haus gerade Bauarbeiten waren, aber ansonsten kann ich die Unterkunft nur empfehlen - das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist echt klasse. Und besonders toll ist der Frühstücks-Service und die äußerst sympatische Betreuung von Marco. Muchas gracias!

We really enjoyed staying at best location, better price!
Because it was quiet last week the first 3 days we had te house for ourself!
Very nice, very peaceful.
Maybe a good tip if you come from the airport with the aerobus thats stops at placa catalunya, take the RENFE (not the metro) to Provenca. This is only a 2 minute walk from carrer de Mallorca.
It's better than to walk like 15 minutes from placa de catalunya to the B&B with your suitcase, I can tell!!
Also if you staying there for a few days its a lot cheaper to buy a ticket at tourist information for 3,4,5 days of touring with the bus, metro en RENFE for a lot less than if you buy a ticket everytime, you also have more time for other stuff!

Die Betreuung war hervorragend. Wer auf fernöstlich inspiriertes Ambiente steht, findet hier eine geeignete Unterkunft. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß aus gut erreichbar. Leider ist Barcelona eine vergleichsweise laute Stadt. Wer es ruhiger mag, sollte lieber auf eine Unterkunft in einer Seitenstraße oder ein besser isoliertes Mittelklassehotel ausweichen.

Quite shabby furniture but in a good way. Fine for the price and a bit more interesting than your average hotel. Breakfast fairly sparse (bread/jam/butter/juice/coffee/tea) some cheese would have been nice - but I'm picking. I would recommend this place to stay.

Il Proprietario è gentile e disponibile. La colazione genuina.
Purtroppo, la nostra stanza affacciava su una strada molto trafficata, con rumori quasi tutta notte e gli spazzini che ritiravanno le bottiglie vuote alle 6.00 del mattino.

Marco is very helpful and friendly. The apartment is absolutely stunning - just how I had imagined it. The ONLY downside is the noisy restaurant where the noise can go on til late but if noise doesn't bother you (or you are out on the town til late) then it shouldn't put you off to what is otherwise one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. Highly recommend it and will definitely stay there again when I go back to Barcelona.

We found Best location Better Place very good value for money and an excellent location. When booking We do suggest requesting one of the bigger rooms with a street view, this made our stay extremely comfortable.

Nous avons passé 5 jours dans ce B&B à Barcelone au mois de mai 2009. Il se trouve dans le quartier moderne de L'Example à 5min à pied de la place Catalunya. La Sagrada Familia est à quelques pâtés d'immeubles. Les transports en commun sont à proximité. Le B&B se trouve dans un immeuble bourgeois de style Art Nouveau très élégant. Les chambres sont toutes décorées avec beaucoup de style et d'originalité, ce qui fait que l'on s'y sent vraiment bien. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse et la serviabilité de Marco, qui tient l'appartement et parle très bien français. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans le salon le matin ou sur le petit balcon ensoleillé. Je recommanderais également le bar à Tapas qui sert d'excellents tapas juste au pied de l'immeuble et à des prix raisonnables. Bref c'est un endroit très agréable pour passer quelques jours à Barcelone, que je conseille car je ne trouve rien à redire au niveau qualité/prix.
