28/05/2010 Il gestore è una persona poco disponibile e l'alloggio è risultato totalmente diverso dalla descrizione sul sito,tanto che ho dormito solo la prima sera e poi sono andata via cambiando accomodazione. Non mi è stata data la ricevuta del pagamento della notte di cui ho soggiornato. Mi dispiace ma deve rivalutare il posto per l'unica cosa utile che che ha,è la posizione molto centrale. 22/05/2010 Meine Freundin und ich wollten uns schöne 2 Wochen in Spanien, Barcelona erhohlen... Wir hatten für die ersten beiden Tage diese Unterkunft gebucht, doch als wir dort ankamen, war niemand vor Ort, der uns die Tür öffnete! Wir haben mehr als 2 Stunden im Treppenhaus gewartet und uns dann eine andere unterkunft vor ort gesucht haben... dieses Ereignis hat unsern urlaub so geprägt, dass wir ihn nach 3 Tagen abgebrochen haben;) Vielleicht habt ihr mehr glück, ich würde es allerdings nicht empfehlen! 21/05/2010 This Hostal was very basic, my friend and I wanted someone cheap and we had a twin room with shared bathroom. But our room was quite a walk to the bathroom, which was a bit embarrassing with a towel wrapped around you or if you needed to go to the toilet in the night as you had quite a hike and past reception. I would have thought two girls would have been postioned nearer the bathroom. The room was very basic but clean. Unfortunately the sink which was in our room, smelt badly whenever we used it. So we gave up on this and went to the bathroom. The bathroom was reasonably clean. The Hostal is in a good location on Carrer Avinyo right in the heart of the city in the Barri Gotic region and only a short walk from the sea. If you are prepared to rough it a bit the hostal will do for a couple of nights. It was however very noisy at night so don't expect to get much rest if you are the type who wants to get up early and do lots of sightseeing!! 31/03/2010 Me pareció muy correcto todo, buena relación precio calidad y dije fin de semana pero puede ser para un matrimonio solo, pareja o también amigos, pero siempre recordando que allí se respeta muchísimo el silencio y la tranquilidad. Por último destacar la muy buena predisposición del Conserje que en mi caso me tocó y se llama Indalecio, muy buena persona. Gracias por dejar expresarme y que sirva para futuros viajeros, este sistema resuelve y simplifica muchísimo el plan de un viaje con buenos resultados. Alberto. 01/03/2010 Une pension pas chère où l'on en a pour son argent. Le confort est correct, l'immeuble plutôt calme, la chambre propre et spacieuse (avec salle de bains intégrée). Seule chose : en période fraiche, prévoir une couverture supplémentaire, les chambres ne sont pas chauffées ! Et les quelques couvertures fournies peuvent ne pas suffire. 16/02/2010 I truly enjoyed this hostel. Almost everything you hear about this place is true, but it is one of the cheapest hostels you can find in Barcelona. Everything that comes with cheap comes with this hostel. But the concierge, even though he cannot speak a work of English, is a very nice man, and he did nothing but try to help my girlfriend and me. The place was great and we had a great location for an excellent price for over a week. To anyone traveling on a budget, I highly recommend this hotel. (By the way, as far as I know there is not a dorm here, so you have to get a room; therefore it is a hotel and not a hostel at the price of sleeping in a dorm on La Rambla.) 30/01/2010 j'ai passé 3 nuits. il est vrai que ce n'est pas cher mais il n'y a pas de chauffage et on s'est gelé, une petite couverture mince, des draps de lit affreux. mais ce n'était pas cher. je pense quand même que pour la saison, un week end en janvier, j'aurais pu trouver mieux. les photos ne représentent pas du tout le lieu. c'était vraiment très vilain. par contre, au niveau du parking conditions intéressantes et parking à proximité. un effort est à faire : aucun ménage n'a été fait pendant notre séjour. on était prévenus mais bon.. lasituation au milieu du gothic m'a bien plu. et finalement je garde un bon souvenir I strongly recommend this lodging (accommodation) for: I would not recommend it Groups of friends

29/12/2009 This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. They were un helpful. arrogant and the rudest set of people I have every met. The hotel is run by a bitter and scynical old man and his boss is not much better. You btter be able to speak spanish cause if you do not dont except any help or understanding even when you try to comunicate in there language. It was not just the hotel i find the spanish just as bad. We had more compassion and help from non natives of the country. This is the worst city i have been and i have been to a few. Dont go there if you are looking for a nice and relaxing holiday. I was very disappointed with the people. 18/11/2009 non è di certo il grande hotel, lo potrei definire "l'affitta camere". Se dovete trascorrere pochi giorni e la stanza vi serve SOLO per avere un tetto sopra la testa allora è ok. Io ci sono stata 4 giorni con una mia amica ci siamo trovate "bene" anche perche siamo delle persone che si sanno adattare. è situato proprio dietro la Rambla, quindi in una posizione comoda per girare tutta la città, ma purtroppo è situata proprio nelle viette diciamo di cosidetto "ghetto". noi appena arrivate ci siamo spaventate per quello che c'era in quelle stradine. siamo arrivate ad un orario un po morto, poi è migliorato nel pomeriggio grazie all apertura dei negozi. L'odore dell ostello non è di certo quelo di chante clair!! hihih.. però va be in fin dei conti se devo dare un mio giudizio a questo pernottamento da 1 a 10: 6- (meno). 17/10/2009 Wir, 2 Mädels (25,26, beide Studentinnen) haben im Hostal -Romay- eine Woche verbracht und waren bestens zufrieden. Es liegt sehr zentral (5 min Fußweg zu den Ramblas), jedoch auch in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Das Mobiliar ist sehr einfach, tut aber völlig seinen Zweck. Das Hostal ist sauber; das Gemeinschaftsbad wird jeden Tag gereinigt, da gab es nix zu beanstanden. Der Besitzer wohnt auch mit im Hostal, sodass man jederzeit einen Ansprechpartner hat. Er raucht ziemlich viel, sodass die Flure nach Rauch riechen, die Zimmer jedoch nicht! Wie gesagt wir sind bestens zufrieden gewesen! Für 15 ? pro Nacht/pro Person in absolut zentraler Lage sind unsere Erwartungen übertroffen worden. Das Hostal ist in jedem Fall für junge Leute mit mittelmäßigen Ansprüchen und kleiner Geldbörse zu empfehlen! I strongly recommend this lodging (accommodation) for: Groups of friends

16/09/2009 L'accueil un peu sec au début passe très vite, malgré les soupirs le gérant est en fait sympa. L'avantage est que cet hébergement n'est constitué que de chambres de 2, dont chaque personne a la clef de l'entrée de l'immeuble et de l'hostal, ce qui permet d'être tout à fait indépendant. 12/09/2009 salve, che dire? appena arrivata ho guardato sotto al letto per assicurarmi che non ci fossero scarafaggi.. la struttura fatiscente, il tipo che mi ha accolto con pantaloncini e camicia aperta sul "pancione".. le lenzuole erano pulite così come le asciugamani.. il bagno discreto.. il televisore non so se funzionava e il ventilatore era pieno di polvere che sposatava sul letto.. sinceramente non lo consiglierei a chi volesse stare in camera a riposare.. noi (io e mio figlio) uscivamo presto e tornavamo tardi, quindi, alla fine, ci interessava solo un letto per dormire.. ma la "non qualità" non corrispondeva al prezzo.. basterebbe solo un pò più di pulizia.. 07/07/2009 aunque este en todo el centro de barcelona esta en un edificio cutrisimo que de entrada da hasta pena, luego llegas al hostal y con suerte te atiende el gerente, sino uno de los inquilinos habituales de alli se hace cargo y te mete en cualquier habitacion las habitaciones huelen a humeedad y estan que se caen y el resto de la planta apesta a tabaco a pesar de que supuestamente esta prohibido fumar. se supone que en el cuarto no entra nadie pero si que entran para retirar la basura(y por el momento no me retiraron nada mas, asi que no dejar cosas valiosas por si acaso) el precio es demasiado caro para el cuchitril que es y la amabilidad como que no entraba en el precio vamos que si podeis gastaros un pòquito mas y por lo menos estar agusto aunque solo sea para dormir I strongly recommend this lodging (accommodation) for: Groups of friends

22/05/2009 Super Lage, Zimmer sehr klein, aber zum Schlafen aussreichend. Nur der Vermieter ist sehr, sehr merkwürdig. Er wohnt auch direkt da, sein Zimmer ist gegenüber vom Bad welches man sich teilt und er hat fast immer seine Zimmertür offen (während er auf dem Bett liegt z.B.). Auch Nachts. Seltsam. 15/05/2009 Por el precio que tiene solo puedes esperar que te den cama para dormir y estar todo el dia fuera de el, si no eres demasiado sibarita saldras al paso muy bien, lo mejor es la ubicacion pues esta muy cerca de la rambla y por consiguiente del metro, buses y todos los servicios que se puedan necesitar, bares, cafeterias, tiendas de alimentacion, etc.. Solo estuve una noche pues estaba de paso, y la verdad que me vino muy bien por el precio, dormi, me aseé y para fuera, ahh!! pa fuera y a las 10:45, nada de las 12 de la mañana. solo me pasaron un par de cosas puntuales, pero que bueno la verdad son vitales en un hotel, hostal, pension o establecimiento de este tipo: La primera fue que al ducharme me encontre con que no tenia agua caliente en ese preciso instante, y la segunda y peor para mi, que el colega de la ""recepcion"" se puso a cortar no se que con un serrucho a las 8 de la mañana!!! flipé cuendo desperté, pero bueno no creo que todos los dias estará cortando madera a esas horas. 09/04/2009 la zona esta cercana al metro, esta en el barrio gótico, queda en un tercer piso sin ascensor, a quien guste de salir en las noches le irá muy bien. a mi en lo particular lo usé sólo para dormir. como para un par de días esta bien. la atencion en el hostal es buena. no aceptan tarjeta de crédito, se debe pagar con efectivo. 31/03/2009 il soggiorno è stato di 5 giorni e non si vedeva l'ora che finissero...l'ostello è ubicato in un palazzo che sembra degli orrori;all'ingresso e per tutti i coridoi c'è un cattivo odore che per quanto forte me lo sono portato fino in italia...le pulizie sono praticamente nulle per non parlare poi di quelli che forse si chiamavano bagni..ogni volta prima di entrare dovevo effettuare io le pulizie per non rischiare d prendere qualche malattia incurabile...io non lo consiglio a nessuno,la posizione era ottima ma per tutto il resto lasciamo stare....meglio spendere 10 euroin più che stare in queste bettole!!!! 22/03/2009 La posizione è davvero ottima! è a due passi dalla Rambla anche se la sera non è il massimo come zona (consiglio di andare in gruppo), ho sentito, anche se a me per fortuna non è successo, che rubano in quei vicoli! Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo!è decisamente economico e cetrale! Bagno pulito...una spazzata a terra ci sarebbe voluta, ma in ogni caso lo consiglio! 16/03/2009 Nice place to sleep 5 minutes way to La Rambla, 5 minutes to shop. Confortable, clean towels and linens, cheap and near to city. Better for people whos speaking spanish. Stuff don't understend in english, but you can understand him on finger language !!! I RECOMENDED for people with less money.

16/03/2009 :-) L'ostello è in una posizione ottima ed il prezzo è molto basso :-( L'edificio è un po' diroccato, le camere sono piccole e poco luminose (e forse è meglio non vedere..) In totale se l'obbiettivo è spendere poco e stare in centro senza badare all'alloggio potete considerarlo ma io col senno di poi forse avrei preferito spendere qualcosina in più ma avere un alloggio più decente.

07/03/2009 Zimmer: Unser Zimmer war extrem klein und sehr schmutzig. Dazu kam noch, dass die "Balkontüre" eine riesen Ritze hatte, und wir so den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht gefrohren haben. Meine Freundin und ich wurden deswegen sogar krank. Betreuer/Hostelbesitzer: Da der Hostelbesitzer kein Wort Englisch oder eine andere Sprache spricht, ist es schwer, mit ihm zu komunizieren. Ausserdem wurde er schnell wütend wegen kleinen Sachen. Sicherheit: Die Sicherheit ist noch gut, da man die Zimmer abschliessen kann. Daher konnte nur er rein, um alle 2 -3 Tage das Zimmer zu "putzen" (es war anschliessend immer noch dreckig) Sauberkeit: Wie schon gesagt war es nicht umbedingt sauber. Am schlimmsten waren aber die WC, nicht einmal Klopapier hatte es, das gab der Hostelbesitzer einem am Anfang und dann musste man es immer mit nehmen. Und Seife hatte es auch keine, was sehr eklig war. Preis/Qualität: Für den noch recht billigen Preis dürfte man trotzdem ein bisschen mehr erwarten

26/02/2009 La posizione dell'ostello è ottima, si trova nel quartiere Gotico in una strada parallela alle Rambla. Il quartirere è ricco di ristoranti e locali. A piedi si può andare ovunque!! L'ostello si trova al terzo piano di un immobile molto vecchio (non vi è l'ascensore). Nelle camere praticamente vi è solo il letto e il lavandino. E' perfetto per chi ha intenzione di potersi muovere liberamente per la città e passare il minor tempo possibile in camera. Non lo consiglio per chi vuole farsi una vacanza rilassante...Non lo consiglio neanche per chi ha intenzione di pernottare per più di una settimana!! E' ottimo per chi vuole risparmiare sensa rinunciare ad essere in pieno centro della città.

24/02/2009 Niente di che, ottima la posizione, praticamente a 100 mt dalla Rambla e dal Porto, camere piccoline, molto vecchie, ma funzionali. Noi avevamo il bagno in camera ma ce ne sono anche senza bagno, chiaramente a costo minore. Tutto sommato per chi vuole spendere relativamente poco e trovarsi in ottima posizione.

03/12/2008 Ne pas y séjourner l'hiver car les chambres ne sont pas dotées de chauffage. Si le séjour est axé sur les visites extérieures, c'est plutôt commode. Dans l'ensemble, ça reste correct. A tester l'été...
