25/05/2011 I think the price was a bit high for what it was. A small room with a little bathroom with only a sink and a mirror, and a shared bathroom with everything else. I think 50€ per night was a bit expensive. The major advantage is its location, beside Plaza de Catalunya in the centre of Barcelona, with an underground station. Everything was clean and they cleaned the room and gave us clean towels everyday. I strongly recommend this lodging (accommodation) for: Spending a weekend

07/05/2011 Excellent. We went as a 3, the room was smallish but fine seeing as we were out most of the day anyway. less than 5 mins from Las Ramblas and 15 minutes from the sea. The owners and friendly and quite relaxed - he let us leave our stuff there til 8pm (even though checkout time was 12pm) and collect it later. wi-fi and coffees are available.Walls are very thin (more of a problem for couples!!) but I think we made the most noise! 27/06/2010 El Hostal HMB está situado cerca de Paseo de Gracia y en tres paradas de metro estás en Pza Cataluña aunque también se puede ir caminando que son unos 20 minutos. El sitio está decorado de forma moderna y el trato de los empleados es correcto. Lo peor de mi estancia fue que tenían dos plantas de habitaciones y para acceder de una a la otra hay que pasar por una zona de plantas así que la primera noche al salir de la ducha me encontré con un montón de hormigas en el suelo de la habitación. Avisé de ello y al día siguiente de nuevo me pasó lo mismo así que bajé a avisar de nuevo y me dieron un insecticida , la verdad es que es muy desagradable y supongo que con plantas cerca resulta difícil de controlar pero deberían tener un cuidado especial precisamente por eso. Igual fue algo puntual pero no me han quedado ganas de repetir. Y tampoco tenían persianas así que o te llevas un antifaz o te despiertas en cuanto amanezca. 23/09/2009 Pension minable, dont le patron ne parlait pas un mot d'anglais ou de français et n'acceptait pas la CB. Nous avons dû dormir avec des boules kyes tellement la chambre était bruyante, et nos voisins ont copulé toute la nuit en poussant de grands cris. 02/09/2009 stanza molto piccola, consigliabile di inverno perché d'estate si muore dal caldo con solo un ventilatore, è in realtà un appartamento adattato a pensione, i due tizi all'inizio mi sembravano un pò ostici poi si sono rivelati più umani. Il y a un système d'alarme bruyant même s'il n'y a pas de vols comme une espèce de sonnerie de réveil à intervalle régulier du magasin "Women secret" situé en bas de la rue. 25/03/2009 Très bonne adresse pour ceux qui passent un week-end à Barcelone. Très bonne localisation. Après, concernant l'accueil et la sympathie ... des améliorations peuvent être faites ! Il faut d'abord parler espagnol (ce qui réduit la communication), ne pas s'attarder sur des détails (changement de salle de bain privée par une salle de bain collective au dernier moment ...).
