The Hostal Barcelona Residencia is a pleasant one star hostel that has been completely reformed in 2000. It has 63 bedrooms with bathroom, TV, heating and air conditioned. It is on Roser Street, near Avenida del Paralelo that ends at Ronda del Litoral , an avenue that borders the maritime area of the city of Barcelona. From the hostel you can get on foot to the Ramblas, the harbour and Plaza España where the Montjuic fairgrounds are located. Only 100 meters far from the hostel is the underground station Parallel, Metro lines 2 and 3, with exit to  Ronda Sant Pau- Fontrodona. On the same Avenue Paralel, there is a great number of bus lines. The location of this hotel is notable for the great concentration of theatres. The famous theatre of Avda. Del Paralelo:”El Molino”, well known all over Europe and closed twenty years ago, was in this same district. This Avenue was called “the street of theatres”.
