About the accommodation

The Pensión Rondas Barcelona is a one star hostel with 10 bedrooms, located at Girona Street, right in the centre of the Eixample, about 400 mtres from Plaza Cataluña, main centre of the city. It is located between el Arco de Triunfo(the Arch of Triumph) and Plaça Catalunya. This area hosts the emblematic Antoni Gaudí buildings: Casa Calvet and Casa Batlló. The famous Ramblas, Barrio Gótico (Gothic Quarter) and Paseo de Grácia are at some few meters. The hostel is more than 40 years old and occupies a modernist  building  dating from the beginnings of the 19th century. It provides simple but very clean bedrooms with heating. There is a lift and some of the bedrooms are external. This hostel is recommended on the Tourist guide “Time out”.

Es ideal para quién no quiera gastarse mucha pasta. Habitaciones básicas, pero limpias. Trato agradable y familiar por parte de los encargados. Buena ubicación
