About the accommodation
The Hotel Curious Barcelona is a one star hotel of 24 rooms located at Carrer del Carmen, at the corner of the well known Ramblas and the crowded street “Carrer Portaferrisa”, surrounded by several fashion stores and well known shops in Barcelona. The hotel has been recently reopened. The facilities include a lift, a Bar and a 24 hour reception service. The surrounding area is full of restaurants, cafés and famous xocolaterías where you can taste a cup of excellent thick chocolate with churros (sort of fried dough). At few meters from the Hotel it stands the Opera theatre, the Liceu and the Palau de la Música (Palace of Music) a renowned concert hall. The hotel location is excellent if you want to get walking to the Barrio Gótico (Gothic Quarter) or the Passeig de Gràcia where you can visit the emblematic buildings of modernist architecture designed by Antoni Gaudi as Casa Batlló and la Pedrera, real masterpieces.

The Curious Hotel Barcelona is only 5 minutes walking from the underground Station Liceu (green Metro line nº3), and only 2 minutes from Plaça Catalunya, in the Centre of the city. At Plaça catalunya you can find different means of transport: buses, underground lines, the RENFE (metropolitan railway) and the Airbus service coming from or going to the Airport (Aeropuerto del Prat).
