04/11/2009 Our first impression was bad, we thought really old and not clean. However, we had a nice stay. Good location, it´s a walking distance to 2 different tube station and staff was helpful as well. For the price paid was fine, would considere a chance to stay there again. 02/10/2009 soggiorno adatto per un weekend con un'amica, posizione molto buona. Staff molto cordiale e mooolto disponibile. Pulizia, per essere un 2 stelle direi che è sufficiente, anche se potrebbe essere migliore.... 22/09/2009 Cet hôtel bénéficie d'un emplacement très favorable. Il fait l'objet d'une rénovation partielle de très mauvaise qualité. Le personnel est très sympathique mais pas très professionnel. 25/08/2009 I travelled alone and for my first visit to France and for a tight budget it was ideal. The hotel was five minutes walk away from the nearest underground station, 10 minutes away from Nation - an easy station to find for the time in Paris. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cleaned well. The reception was welcoming and very helpful. The winding staircase was part of the ambiance. I could hear the other hotel residents very easily which was off putting when I was very tired but the hotel was quiet by 11PM which was very good for a good night's sleep. The neighbouring shop keepers were patient and the neighbourhood residents were happy to talk to me. Although I could not speak French at all they were ready to talk. The street markets on Saturday had a huge variety of fresh foods and the stall keepers were happy to put up with the non-French speaking foreigner. 10/08/2009 Have just returned from a very comfortable 4 night stay in this 2 star hotel. They were very family friendly, obviously with young children themselves, and gave helpful advice as to location of local shops etc. and encouraged use of the microwave, and of the fridge. Reception is manned till 2am which was more than enough for making the most of our time there, so coming in after midnight was not a problem. One of the best things was location. Just a few minutes walk to the Porte de Vincennes metro station, which is on the number one metro line taking you directly into the heart of Paris in 20 mins. The 2 rooms we booked which were advertised as triples were actually doubles plus a camp bed underneath the main bed, and these were not made up on our arrival.However the beds were freshly made each day after this and the beds were comfortable. Plus they only initially provided 2, and not 3 towels in the rooms but were happy to provide extra on request. I would stay here again very happily. Ich empfehle diese Unterkunft für: Familien

03/07/2009 Un très bon accueil, personnel présent et très serviable, pret à aider si besoin est... Un batiment en travaux actuellement donc beaucoup de passage dans l'hotel, pas d'assenceur ce qui est dommage lorsqu'il faut monter avec sa valise jusqu'au 4ème étage... 28/06/2009 Good hotel for the price, quite close to public transportation from which you can go almost anywhere, just make sure you know when the last train is so that you don't get stuck on the wrong side of the city. I recommend the ParisVista pass for public transportation. They have information about the city in the entrance. There is a good bakery across the street, and a pharmacy right next door in case you forgot something. They are very nice and helpful, although some furniture perhaps could be updated, new carpets, and some outlets weren't working. The hair dryer didn't work, and we told them, and they gave us a different one that worked that we were able to use - so very helpful if you have problems. Plus, pretty low price. 04/06/2009 This hotel is a great deal, especially if you're planning a trip with three people, as they will put you all up in the one room. It's not the nicest and it's not in the best location...but you get what you pay for. The staff are nice and friendly, the rooms are fine and the neighborhood feels nice and safe. 23/05/2009 Spending the week end with my boyfriend out there recently I would recommend this place for short stay only, but with a reasonable price! Well the building is quite old and the decoration is very simple. But it is not bad though!!! The staff is very cool and young and the breakfast was good for the price and served with a smile!!! 22/05/2009 Both me and my wife were on a trip to Paris - Switzerland and then back to Paris. So we stayed in Paris (in Hotel de France Nation) at the beginning and at the end of our trip. The first time we got a room on 2nd floor and on our way back we got a room on 1st floor. The bathroom on 2nd floor was just about enough space - but 1st floor bathroom was really small. I mean you cannot take a shower without your body hitting the walls and curtain. And I am not a fat guy! I think if it is the 2nd floor room it is probably just ok for the price. I will recommend this hotel only to people on real low budgets (that is if you get a 2nd floor room - 1st floor room is not worth it). I cannot compare this to other hotels in Paris - since I haven't been to other hotels. Other things - It is quite close to metro - so even if you have big luggage, it's not a problem. It's kind of close to the main attractions in Paris - but I don't think it will matter in Paris - you can get to all places by metro. Ich empfehle diese Unterkunft für: Freundesgruppen

15/04/2009 The hotel was quite good,though there was no breakfast included in the price. Lots of cafes around this place. To get to the centre of the city, u have to take the metro. The stop is not too far from the hotel. If you want to live in a happening locality of paris, this hotel is not for you. but if u want a good deal for the money u pay, then go for it. 13/04/2009 La posizione è molto comoda, perchè sono vicine sia la linea 1 che porta direttamente a Notre Dame e Louvre che la linea 6 che porta alla torre Eiffel. L'accoglienza è stata gentile, nessun problema con la prenotazione. Anche la stanza ci è sembrata abbastanza spaziosa, anche se l'arredamento è essenziale, con un bagno piccolo ma funzionale. La stanza dava sul cortiletto interno, silenzioso. Le foto inserite sul sito sono corrette. Non abbiamo preso la colazione in albergo, ma comprato i croissant nella boulangerie di fronte e il caffè alll'angolo. Abbiamo visto che qualcuno la prendeva in una piccola stanzettta al piano terra. Unici difetti: il televisore riceveva in solo canale, ma mi hanno detto che era un problema della camera, e, più fastidioso, si sentivano i rumori degli sciacquoni delle camere sovrastanti e talvolta le voci di altri clienti dal giro scale. 15/03/2009 Même si d'abord, on pouvait avoir quelques craintes au vu de l'ancienneté de l'établissement, le confort est suffisant. Le personnel est accueillant et sympathique. Toutefois, une modernisation des menuiseries extérieures serait appréciée pour les chambres sur la rue.

24/10/2008 Estuve tres días en Paris, y la verdad que iba con un poco de miedo, porque no sabía qué hotel iba a encontrarme, después de leer los comentarios de otros hoteles. Pero la sorpresa fue grata. El barrio estaba muy bien. Una comunicación excelente, a 10 minutos andando de la Plaza Nation ´(donde alli están todas las lineas de buses, metros, etc), y muy tranquilo. La habitación amplia, con suelo de parket (importantísimo por la limpieza) y el lavabo más viejo, pero muy grande y limpio también. Te cambiaban las toallas cada mañana y te hacían la cama. Lo recomiendo mucho, porque por el precio estaba genia.
