21/10/2009 Günstige Lage zwischen Ost- und Nordbahnhof, dennoch ruhig, da in der Straße kaum Verkehr ist. Man darf keine zu großen Erwartungen an das Hotel haben, die Zimmer sind klein, aber sauber, schlicht möbliert und mir eigenem Bad. Nettes Personal, ausreichendes Frühstück, wenn auch nicht gerade abwechslungsreich. Wer nicht viel Geld ausgeben möchte und keinen Luxus braucht, ist hier genau richtig. 13/09/2009 Really nice stay easy to find with a great location, coming out the grand du nord and basically look left and keep walking. Friendly staff perfect for getting round because you can use the grand du nord metro station and use the tourist imfo for help. I wouldn't come here if you like satying in expensive suites, but its got everything you need and is perfect for getting to the main sites using metro 4 dark pink line into cite or chateu you can get right into the centre of paris next to notre damm and the palace. perfect stay. 29/07/2009 Generally clean quiet rooms which were very good value for money.Exceptions:the hairdrier in my room didn't work; the internet access was skittish,and the TV had only French stations. If one went to the breakfast-room the breakfast was a rather austere old-fashioned Continental breakfast.But the location could not have been better,and going out for breakfast to a neighbouring bistro solved the breakfast problem. 27/05/2009 This is a very basic place, two minute walk from Gare du Nord. Neighbourhood is not great, though hotel location is very convenient. We used it for a one-night stopover - arrived at 11 p.m. on a Friday on Eurostar from London before heading to Bordeaux the next morning at 8 a.m. Rooms were clean, attached baths and double beds available and all in price was 75 EUR per room (without breakfast) and we booked at short notice, so the only options that we could find that was cheaper in an equally convenient location were hostels with shared rooms. Advantages are that it operates a 24-hour reception and the owner was quite friendly - helpful in trying to speak English, providing maps etc. Would not recommend for a family with kids definitely, given that the area aroud Gare du Nord is a bit seedy in parts, but definitely a good place if you're looking for something cheap (by Paris standards) and basic and don't want to spend hundreds of Euros just for a bed for the night. 14/03/2008 Era lo que buscabamos: un hotel central y económico. Nuestro viaje era por varias capitales europeas, así que buscabamos hoteles de este tipo. Aconsejable!
