Feasts of the Ascension 2011
The festivities of the Ascension, celebrated in the capital Santiago de Compostela, will have several days of festivities, with local holiday on Thursday, June 2. Festivals are considered Galicia attractions and attract thousands of visitors to the city, as every year, enjoy a packed program of activities during the five days of celebration.
The performances of the day, will focus on the main squares of the city where all residents and visitors can enjoy the various performances of Folk na Rua that happen throughout the day. As in the previous day, this day will also parades accompanied by parades, big heads, the pipers and the brass band TNT.

Fiestas Melide
Tapas Melide held every weekend of June, between the covers that we enjoy, we find the most innovative recipes, such as minced mushroom sauce scallops, octopus dumplings, stuffed peppers Avenue style. .., or traditional whole life, like the classic omelette. The tapas are free and all visitors who complete the route may enter a drawing.

Circus Europa - I Encontro Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe
Circus Europa is based strictly on the display shows and other activities open to both the general public and the artistic community dedicated to the new circus in Galicia. The formative part of Europe Circus held at the Hall Theater of Santiago de Compostela between 17 and 29 June (inclusive). For seven hours a day and coordinated by Fatou Traouré and Jean-Michel Guy, 19 European artists will participate in core training program I Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe Meeting. Galician seconding four teachers in addressing the various disciplines related to new theatrical circus genre.
