Climate in Florence
Florence's climate is considered subtropical and Mediterranen with very hot and dry summers with temperatures that can be higher than 35º C, while winters are mainly chilly and humid and temperatures can drop to 5º C.
The ideal season to visit Florence is Spring, from March to June, when the average temperatures range from 15º C to 20º C and Autumn, from September to December. Nevertheless in Winter and Summer the city is still beautiful and worth visitng due to the usually lower cost of accommodations, food and transportation; besides you needn't queue to visit museums and galleries.
