A notre arrivée le 24 décembre, l’employé de service à l’accueil a tenté de nous « abuser » lors du paiement du solde de notre réservation en essayant de mélanger la saisie de la somme en euro sur le terminal de carte bleue avec la somme en livre turc. Nous avions déjoué l’astuce et l’incident en est resté là. Le 28 décembre, le vol de mon téléphone blackberry et d'un ipod touch dans le tiroir de la table de chevet a eu lieu pendant notre absence, veille de notre départ d’Istanbul. Après avoir informé le responsable de l’accueil de l’hôtel du vol et lui avoir demandé quel personnel avait fait le ménage (sommaire) dans la chambre, il n'a pas répondu, j’ai donc effectué les démarches auprès des autorités de police. Notre départ le lendemain matin de l’hôtel avec ma famille pour l’aéroport s’est déroulé dans des conditions très agitées.Nous avons subi des menaces directes du gérant et de l’un de ses employés et nous avons véritablement failli en venir aux mains avant de forcer le passage.
