18/10/2009 Breakfast terrible. Poor choice of food. Salami, which looked like the cheapest possible, and tasted bad. Only boiled eggs, no omelettes. One day there was no cereal. No spoons to eat cereal with. When food ran out no more was supplied. Bed did not have a sheet. Guests ran wild (11.10.09 at 1 in the morning), banging on doors, shouting, and running along corridors. No action by staff to stop them. Rooms at front of hotel very noisy. I strongly recommend this lodging (accommodation) for: I would not recommend it Groups of friends |

Location of accommodation:
The Bristol Hotel Istanbul is located in the Beyoğlu District, near the `Tunnel` underground station. From the Aksaray tramway station, the hotel is 5 minutes away, by taxi. Hotel has a shuttle service to the airport, at an extra cost.
By taxi, from the Ataturk Airport, instructions in turkish for the cab drivers are the following:
`Taksim istikametinden gelirken: 3. ışıklardan (İngiliz konsolosluğunun önünden )sola dönün daha sonra sağa dönün. 200 mt ilerde eski Amerikan Konsolosluğu karşısındayız.
Unkapanı istikametinden gelirken: Unkapanı köprüsünü geçtikten sonra 3. ışıklardan sağa dönün sonra tekrar sağa dönün 200 mt ilerde soldayız. Ayrıca eski Amerikan Konsolosluğunun karşısındayız.`
