07/07/2009 Breakfast was surprisingly included although it was not booked. It was not special as we read it in another comment, but you can it eat. We had a double room with WC/Shower and it was small but enough. It was clean, even if it was not in the best state. The room was at the street side, it was a bit loud, but we were most of the time too tired to here it. The service staff on the reception was very very kind and helpful. The possibility to prepare a cup of tee or coffee in the room is very comfortable. We liked our stay and would choose this hotel again for another trip. Per accedere al Springfield Hotel London si può prendere qualsiasi delle linee di Metro Circle, District, Bakerloo e Hammersmith and City fino alla stazione Paddington. L’hotel è a 5 minuti dalla fermata ed il percorso totale dal centro della città (Piccadilly Circus) dura 15 minuti.

Basement solution was not ideal (only positive feature was low to no noise level). Room was tiny - barely enough room to put your foot down with luggage in the room. Toilet did not flush well. Shower was unregulated (too) hot water therefore unusable. Unfortunately for August - full house and 48 hour advance notice penalty, so we got out as soon as we could to one of the many, many other accomodations in the area (and at a lower price to boot!). Breakfast was canned beans and raw canned tomatoes. Eggs & toast & juice, you can't really mess up. Possibily other rooms might have been better but who knows... All in all, low level accomodation.
