I strongly recommend this lodging (accommodation) for: Spending a weekend |

19/05/2010 The staff were always very friendly and helpfull. The room was small and with a double bed taking up most of the room; there was not much space for moving around. However, even with the lack of space, all the basics were there inside the room (toilet, wash basin (very small), walk-in shower (shower rose was very high and would have been a problem to direct the flow for anyone under about 5 foot 9 inches), TV (only could get BBC 1 and ITV 1), kettle (tea, coffee, milk and sugar provided, but with the basin being so little and so would not fit into the basin to fill it; had to fill the kettle by using the provided mug) and a "wardrobe" without any doors (so was really more like a tall dresser with drawers, but "cheap" style hangers of various types were provided)). Cooked breakfast was good (ceareals, hot beverage, fruit juice and toast were almost limitlesly encouraged to be consumed). No disability access. Overall; I would have prefered a slightly more expensive well known hotel chain I strongly recommend this lodging (accommodation) for: I would not recommend it Groups of friends Lloyd Hooper |

The accommodation is very basic, small room with a bed and a little commode (and of course TV). Room was in basement therefore being dark and dull with no particular view out of the window. The step in shower was blocked, no shower gel was given only a small soap. In overall it did not seem to be filthy but was not particularly clean on the other hand. The only good thing I found and is exceptional that the room had a small fridge in it so one can keep a cold can of coke or beer if fancy. Breakfast was one croissant and some toast, margarine and jam with optional cereal, tea and coffee (that was all). Also the walls were very thin in the room so noisy neighbours kept waking me up on Saturday night. It is just about acceptable probably for only one night stay but definitely not for a planned holiday.
