04/03/2011 Il m'a été donné de voir deux chambres, du fait qu'ils se soient trompés la première fois. La chambre avec deux lits simples était assez sombre et la salle de bain minuscule (environ 1,50*1,50m). Il nous a ensuite était attribué une chambre avec le lit double (comme demandé) qui était beaucoup plus spacieuse, éclairée et avec une belle salle de bain. Seul repproche de taille ; le matelas, d'une saleté remarquable, faisait des taches noires sur les draps après y avoir dormi, chose qu'il ne m'avait jamais été donné de voir auparavant ! Petit déjeuner à volonté mais on regrette l'absence de traditions anglaise comme saucisse, oeuf,... I strongly recommend this lodging (accommodation) for: Groups of friends |

10/12/2010 The Alexandra Hotel, London W2, is a very comfortable moderately priced hotel. It is situated only a very short walk from Paddington Station, and only about ten minutes walk from Kensington Gardens. We have stayed here twice and have found the bedrooms to be well furnished with comfortable beds and good standard en-suite bathrooms. We enjoyed the self service breakfast of hot drinks, cereals, toast, yogurt and a choice of cold meats and cheese. The receptionist was particularly helpful giving us good information about the locality and allowing us to store our luggage after check-out on the day of our departure free of charge. There is internet access in the reception lobby. On our next visit we plan to come by car, and park in one of the six available parking spaces at an adjacent hotel that is owned by the same company. 02/12/2010 We enjoyed our stay at The Alexandra Hotel, Sussex Gardens. This was our second visit to this hotel. The bedroom was very comfortable and we enjoyed the help yourself breakfast. Hotel met zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Proper, rustig en zeer dicht bij Paddington metro station. Geen luxe, eerder basic, maar je hebt er alles wat je nodig hebt. Zeker een aanrader voor diegene die geen fortuin willen uitgeven aan een logement.
