12/03/2011 It's an old building in need of a total refurbishment, but it's cheap by London standards. The rooms are rather cramped without table or chairs, but have a fridge of sorts, and a little TV that just about works. It is all very basic, but there are fresh, fluffy white towels every day and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is also very basic, but it's OK to bring your own if it doesn't need cooking! The en suite bathrooms vary in size and modernity, but they serve their purpose. There is no lift, and the stairs are narrow! There is a certain amount of traffic noise and the walls could be thicker, but you expect some noise in London! There is a bus stop right outside and a post box across the street. The nearest tube station is a stone's throw away. The area is very good, in a better part of town, with lots of excellent eateries and late-opening convenience stores as well as charming and unique small shops. Chiswick is a delightful area and even boasts several supermarkets, including a large Sainsbury's. There is, in fact, everything you want and more besides. 23/09/2009 Personale molto gentile e disponibile anche per l'aiuto che ho avuto personalmente per problemi personali. dei quali vorrò molto presto sdebitarmi. Ma per quanto riguarda la camera a me riservata per una settimana.........invivibile ! ! Una doppia in 8 mq.......!!! ed un bagno 2 mq.......!!! che per usare il water dovevo stare con una gamba nella stanza.Tutto il contrario di quanto avevo visto e prenotato nel sito. Ripeto, nulla da obiettare sulle persone ma solo sulla tipologia della camera a me riservata. Distinti saluti Gianni Sbarigia. Nice and clean place in a not too bad location if considering the price. The area is very beautiful and quiet, but it's a 30-40 min tube trip from the centre on the District line, which is pretty frequent.
