27/08/2009 El hotel está muy bien comunicado, cerca del metro (King'Cross St. Pancras- circle line) y de las paradas de autobús que te llevan al centro. El lugar es muy tranquilo y silencioso. Las habitaciones que nos fueron asignadas practicamente no tenían mobiliario, ni armarios, ni perchas escasamente las camas. El lavabo y ducha, aún sabiendo que era compartido, estaba bastante viejo. La alcachofa de la ducha estaba atada con celo. El desayuno era normal, tostadas, mermelada café, chocolate y zumos. El último día nos encontramos las camas sin hacer y la habitación sin limpiar. Le Melville Hotel est à éviter absolument. Toutes les descriptions que vous pourrez en lires sont totalement fausses. On prétexte une réservation non reçue (???) pour vous loger dans un placard nauséabond qu'on a le culot d'appeler une chambre. Une seule douche sur les deux, en état pour toutes les chambres. Le comportement de certains employés est à la limite de l'incorrection lorsque vous demandez à obtenir ce qu'on vous avez réservé. Il ne faut pas hésiter à demander le directeur, qui apparait comme par miracle alors qu'il avait été déclaré absent par le personnel. Alors, tout s'arrange, non sans mal, après une discution serrée (en français, s'il vous plait) Pour quelques livres de plus, optez plutôt pour l'Excelsior, à deux numéros de là, qui appartient au même propriétaire, mais qui offre un tout autre niveau de confort.
