03/08/2009 Very, very small room, run-down furniture and hallways, and the breakfast non-fresh and primitive; but the bathroom was new and very clean and functional, the location is great, and the price more than reasonable. 29/05/2009 Al llegar al Metro Hotel, el chico que me atendió (que porcierto, cada vez que hiba, el estaba, no vi ningún otro), me dijo que teníamos que pasar las dos primeras noches en otro hotel, que estaba mu cerca e incluso estaba mejor (sobre todo el desayuno, bastante variedad), el Hotel Shakespeare. La tercera noche, en el metro hotel, las camas mas incomodas y el desayuno te lo suben a la habitación en una bandeja, y el kafe te lo tienes que preparar con unos sobres y una especie de aparato que ay para calentar el agua..lo mejor los baños y que te dan la llave de la entrada y de la habitación. Así que nos vino genial pasar dos noches en el otro bed and breakfast. Muy recomendable pasear una noche por la zona, una calle perpendicular está repleta de negocios Árabes, en los que recomiendo integrarse (éramos los únicos no árabes) para fumar Shisha (pipas gigantes mu chulas) y tomar un zumo de naranja, un te etc. I strongly recommend this lodging (accommodation) for: Spending a weekend Mikel Merlo Salinas |

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirlich sehr gut, da Bus, Nachtbus und Metro gleich ums Eck sind . Die Größe des Zimmers war lachhaft ( 2x 2.5 Meter) das Bett war gewöhnungsbedürftig ( aber wenn man 8 Stunden herumläuft dann schläft man vermutlich auch auf einem Nagelbrett ein). Bad WC waren im nächsten Stock und meist besetzt u nur relativ sauber. Leider kam es " angeblich " zu einer Doppelbuchung, also boten sie uns für die letzte Nacht ein Zimmer in einem naheliegendem Hotel, sehr viel größer aber nicht wirklich sauberer aber dafür WC und Bad im Zimmer. Obwohl unser Fenster im ursprünglichen Hotel zu Straße gewandt war, war es was den Straßenlärm angeht relativ ruhig, dafür hörte und spürte man die Metro ( 1. Stock). Alles in allem, auch wenns bisher nicht so geklungen haben mag, wars in Ordnung (wenn man seine Erwartungen nicht zu hoch schraubt). Denn schließlich gibts soviel zu sehen in London, dass man eh schon wissen, abends dann meist eh nur mehr ins B(r)ett fällt.
