Mora Hotel, Madrid - we were very impressed with how well the double glazing blocked the sound from the always-busy Paseo del Prado right out front. Restaurant very handy for morning coffee and pastry - not the best coffee in Madrid, but good service and atmosphere, lovely view out onto the Paseo. We were grateful that the hotel agreed to keep something for us that we couldn't take on the high-speed train to Barcelona, and that they delivered it, and another item forgotten in our room, very promptly when we returned for our second stay. Location cannot be beat, very good value.

excellent location, we could walk to places we wanted to visit (especially Prado). Also very near Atocha station for visits to Alcala, Toledo etc.
Hotel very clean, bed comfortable, room good size, bathroom good size and nice facilities.
staff helped us with taxi booking, the room and bathroom were cleaned well each day.
restaurant attached to hotel offered good value for fixed price meal, a bit crowded but a useful facility when it was raining!
double glazing effectively limited the noise from traffic on Paseo del Prado so it was quite quiet.
Only concern was heating/ventilation system, it was very hot and difficult to adjust though we did manage to lower heat eventuallly, don't know how this would work in summer.

Es un sitio precioso a cien metros del museo del prado y en la misma manzana del caixa forum. Genial para una vista cultural.

El hotel está muy convenientemente situado, en el Paseo del Prado, con vista a los árboles del Paseo o bien al Museo Caixa Forum. Las habitaciones están perfectamente insonorizadas. Alojamiento de categoría.
