Hotel Wagram Paris

There is no elevator in the six-storey building, which is not indicated in the hotel description, thus hauling luggage up to the higher floors on the narrow and winding starway is a bit difficult. The building needs a thorough renovation, but its location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from the Étoile. The fruit market in the street is fantastic, but the vendors do begin shouting and throwing boxes around very early in the morning, making sleep difficult with open windows.

This place was a total dive. There were no electrical outlets in the room, so I had to blowdry my hair in the hallway. The shower was brutal, and they give you one ratty hand-towel to dry off with. The toilette is across the hall, and is surrounded by paint cans and disgusting "cleaning" supplies (maybe they should think about using them...). The carpets were gross, and I felt really uneasy walking on them with bare feet. And I'm pretty sure I got lice from the bed. Or maybe it was from the cat that slept on the front desk. The hotel is supposed to be non-smoking, but the room absolutely stunk of stale smoke, and there was an ashtray on the table. The plus is that it's located in this great little market with a nice bakery across the street and it's only 3 blocks from the Arc de Triomphe. But other than the location, I don't have anything good to say about this place.

Les chambres sont simples, pas de chichi, mais à ce prix là, et tout près des Champs Elysées, c’est imbattable…Idéal pour les petits budgets comme nous. Le plus : le marche juste à côté.

Hotel básico. Yo lo recomiendo si se viaja a París con un presupuesto corto. Se paga poco, pero la ubicación es magnifica ya que se esta a dos pasos de Arco del Triunfo y Campos Eliseos.
