PROS: The location was excellent being five minutes walk from the old town square and a few minutes walk from the nearest metro station. The rooms were clean, tidy and looked as though they were fairly recently rennovated. The room was also warm which was essential in December. Most of the reception staff were helpful but service was slow. CONS: Noise levels. The general noise level throughout the hotel could be very disturbing both throughout the night and during the day. The hotel was not carpeted and this was reflected in every sound being reverberated. The hotel is above a gym/squash courts and from around 7-8am till 10/11pm at night. Forget having a lie in if you get woken up by the sound of squash courts. Also there was a bar/restaurant downstairs and this could be quite noisy through the night. Also the cleaners had a habit of yelling to one another first thing in the morning. Generally OKish.
